Thanks Raymond. I could consider Tampa, but would probably prefer West Palm since I have family there and visit twice a year. Any insight on the West Palm area?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to invest in a short-term rental property as a newbie. I’m deciding between West Palm Beach which I visit often and Kissimmee, FL, (proximity to Disney) My budget is no more than $500k and I’ll be financing part of it, so I really need to know which area has a greater chance of success in this current market.

I’m hoping to get your insights on:

  1. 1. What's the realistic cash flow and ROI after expenses in each market?
  2. 2. How do average occupancy rates compare year-round?
  3. 3. What do managers typically charge in West Palm vs. Kissimmee?

Any data, personal experience, or lessons learned would be a huge help. Thanks in advance.
