Thank you all! The tenants agreed to cash for keys. I appreciate all of the insight.

Yes, i have the deed. So, if I decide to do cash for keys i do not have to get a lawyer involved? But anything other than cash for keys you all suggest getting a lawyer? I thought the process would be easier since it isn’t a rent paying tenant or the owner. Thank you all for taking the time to respond!

Hello,

I just purchased a property from the foreclosure auction in South Jersey. I just found out the owner up and left & wants nothing to do with the property. The people currently living in the property are family members of the owner. There is no lease & they have been living in the home rent free for months. How should I go about getting them out?
