Thanks. I plan to buy one with an ocean front view - but the main consideration is still the action vs. quiet. The quieter beach is about 3 miles from the center of the action. I know which one I would prefer but still not sure what renters would prefer.

Thanks Chris. I'm glad to hear that as it seems that condos in the quieter area, while more expensive to purchase, have a higher occupancy rate and bigger rents. I did talk to the onsite manager - she said that occupancy has a lot to do with how nice you make your rental and what amenities you have - like King size bed, hulu or netflix - and even if you have a recliner! Who would have thought of that? But she said that potential renters actually ask for condos with recliners.
Thanks again.

I will be investing in my first income property and am considering condo beachfront with onsite management. My main question is whether a beachfront condo is more likely to rent when vacationers can walk to restaurants and other attractions but where it is very busy, traffic, and tourists - or rent a condo in a quiet, neighboring beachfront that is more residential but you need to drive 3 - 4 miles for entertainment and attractions. Thanks.
