Post: Deal options for private money lender

I am negotiating a deal with a private investor who is paying 20% down for a rental property. Full loan will be in my name and is cash flowing each month.

What are some creative ways to benefit each party? We will be moving forward together in the future pursuing multiple properties.

All advice and options are welcome!

Thank you!

I am interested in finding a great tool regarding market analysis for potential rental properties to share in a pitch to an investor. Any suggestions of where I can find one for free? Or tips to create one from scratch?

Thanks!!

@Shane Ussery

Wow this was great feedback! I have heard time and time again that family investors are more often a struggle.

I’m a young working professional straight out of college and it’s been hard to sell people on the idea of letting me handle their cash towards real estate investments. This family member was the first to believe in me. And in some cases, this may just be the route I have to take to get some big time investors to hear my pitch later in my future.

Thanks for sharing some of your perspective!

@Jonathan Greene

Great to know! I look forward to getting to that point when I can’t do every deal as well. I have some other avenues I am approaching, so I will see how those go.

Thanks for the advice!

@Wren Martin

Thanks! This being my first purchase, trying to take advantage of my state benefits is going to be key. Hopeful the deal comes through today!

@Joe Cassandra

Never thought about utilizing the marketplace. That is something new to me I will keep in mind!

Thanks!
