I am looking for B and C properties, looking to do my first BRRRR. I found a home that is near 17th street but I haven't found much about the different areas and I called a property manager but they weren't much help

I'm in Dallas, Texas and just started renting out my first Airbnb rental, I need CPA or legal advice on whether we need to form a LLC now or wait until we have more properties. Since this is our first one, I have heard mixed advice and even from podcasts that you might not need to do it if you only have one but should start looking into it soon. Will it benefit for us to have income coming in under the business at this point? Will I be able to file a schedule E as an individual or is that only if I create LLC.

Hello, my husband and I wanted to get into real estate, so we bought another home and decided to Airbnb our current home in Texas. I have questions about how to best proceed financially for tax purposes. We set up a separate bank account for all expenses and income coming in, but we didn’t set it up as a business account and we haven’t applied or set up EIN. Is this something that is recommended with only one property? Any advice would be great or recommendations to a pro locally in Dallas. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice! We have been approved for two mortgages with our income. I have reached out to my insurance broker for landlord insurance quotes.

Hello! I am new here and I am looking at investing in real estate for the first time in Dallas, TX. Since we don’t have much cash, we are looking to rent our current home and buy a new home as owner occupied, that we then hope to rent in a year and build our portfolio from there... homes in East Dallas sell for about 250K and rent for about 1,800-1,950 depending on the size... any advice on whether this price range is worth it? My profit seems to be very minimal when I run the numbers and calculating for expenses. Any advice for a newbie would be appreciated!
