Hi, so i'm about to to buy my first property with the VA loan. It's a fourplex. One unit is already rented and 3 are vacant. I'm going to move into one of the vacant ones and need help renting the other two. Could someone provide me with some resources or books where i could learn how to do that? How to manage the property as a lanlord of a fourplex which i as well occupy? How to get tenats etc. I know there are books about renting but I'm more focus on renting out a fourplex which i live in and how does that play out living next to tenants.

Ok, thanks a lot guys. I've done some more research and I can see that timeshares are really bad investment, if i can even manage to call it an investment...
But thanks for clarifying what timeshare is. Honestly, i never really heared of it and I actually though it was a condo he's selling. But now I know better.

Yes, actually I believe it's a timeshare. He's asking 13k for it, it's worth about 30k.
Why is that bad to invest in timeshare? I guess it's not an actual property right,.. But I think I can still rent it out.

Ok, so I'm about to get into my first real estate deal.
It's a share of Sheraton broadway plantation villas. It's 2 bed 2 bath condo. With $700 annual fees. The trick is, it's not actual property but more so a share. Which means, that share could be used on requesting any room at that resort, even at the same resort locating at different places around the US.
My question is, does anyone have any experience investing in this kind of real estate? I'm still not quite sure how this would work with renting it out. Is it like choosing a location and room and then getting assign guests/tenant?
All help and support appreciated. I'm suppose to go sign the contract tomorrow.
And also, should I bring a contract my self or just leave it up to the seller? Being sold by owner.
