Hello BP. My name is Wesley Quinn.

I Read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "The Richest Man in Babylon" in  January 2020 Found BP in the same time and realized I wanted to get out of the rat race.

Told myself I would have 6 months to Educate myself and save then before the end of the year I wanted to own a property that would either cash flow or brake even.

So for the next six months I listened to ever BP Podcast from the original, money, business, and rookie. Read the books the people would recommend. And learned how to use the tools Provided by BP

Finally six months rolled around and got to work.

I Decided to do a house hack. Looking for a 3bed/2bath under 200k

Found a good property at my range and got it.

In the process of filling it with tenents now.

I know It's been oversaid but I found it so true that once you just go. You learn a lot more than you thought you knew.

This has been an awesome experience.

For anyone who would want people in the Hampton Roads area.

A great VA lender is OVM Financial

A good realtor was Tiffany Forte eXp.

Thank you for reading and will do more in the future.

@Chancellor Frankson

Navy sailor. Here's my two cents

If you are getting BAH then use your VA lone.

If you are unsure of cost talk to your command financial specialist to prove you can afford it.

It'll pay off on the backend.

And as always while young roommates help keep cost low.

Hello BP, my name is Wesley Quinn, I am active duty and new to investing. Looking at buying a multifamily in Norfolk VA to house hack and fill with tenants. Being that I'll be deployed for several months at a time

A question I had is what checklist do you use to find property managers. And are there property managers which you can be hands-off for several months at a time and they can handle the issue(s) that come up?

Would appreciate any feedback or advice from anyone in the area who has experience with this.
