Thanks Kevin! I will call zoning office just to confirm but sounds like this might not be an issue at all

Hey all! I am currently reading up on my local zoning rules and regs and have not found anything to tell me different yet but a property I am looking at is a unique situation so I am looking for feedback. So this all in one deal would be one SFR (commercial zoning), one Duplex (Residential zoning), and two separate stand alone garages (commercial zoning). I would potential be renting all these out separately. My question is, is it possible that I could run into an issue renting the SFR on a property that is commercially zoned? I am going to keep reading/ doing my due diligence but I have not seen anything that would have me steer clear. Feedback from anyone that has some experience on this would be much appreciated.

Hello everyone! New investor here getting started. I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area and recently moved back. Looking to begin my real estate investing journey by doing a house hack with a multi-family unit. I have been doing all the research and I am ready to get started. I have the capital saved up and even my pre approval letter ready to go. I would be willing to put in some rehab work initially and utilizing the BRRRR method to get started. My plan will be to leverage that equity into picking up 2 to 3 more properties in the next 5 years. I am currently residing in an area south of the south hills but commute out to Greensburg twice a week for work. The rest of the week I work from home so the flexibility is nice. That said, those are primarily the areas I am beginning my search! I am really looking forward to connecting with people on this platform and would take any advice you all may have for a newcomer. I appreciate the help!
