Hi All,

My name is Will. I'm 27 and I got interested in Real Estate investing from some co-workers a few years ago. I'm military and was moved here from San Antonio in August. My first few years I was heavily invested in stocks and mutual funds exclusively. I've lived in Virginia, Texas, and now Colorado.

I currently have two SFRs; three if you include my current house. One in Colorado Springs and the other in San Antonio. My current goal is to acquire 10 rentals by December 2018 most likely in Colorado. San Antonio has a really good market though. My end goal would be to stop my day job after a few years of REI.

My issue is that I'm figuring out how to finance properties with 0 down. I used both of my VA loans. I've thought about using an HFA loan later this year. I don't quite get how the members here are getting SFRs without a downpayment. I've read about seller financing, but I haven't figured out how to get that. All that said, I'm really optimistic that I can reach my goal easily. My most recent success is a SFR with 15% down that I bought for $118k that's worth $134k!

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you here! I've learned a lot already through the forums and articles.
