Jay, I'm new to BiggerPockets but not new to syndication.  I'm working on my third private placement, and would be happy to share that opportunity with you and network.  Let me know if you are interested in connecting.

Hello, and Happy New Year!

I've been a real estate investor for a few years now, and I have recently joined the world of multifamily partnerships.  As an accredited investor, I invested as a Limited Partner in a project in Cincinnati.  I impressed with the returns and the tax benefits, so I became a General Partner in the next deal...a 250 unit complex in Houston.  THAT is so successful, we are now under contract for another apartment community in Houston, and have about $1M in subscriptions remaining.

Needless to say, I'm excited to be here, and I'm looking forward to learning from everyone and hopefully, making a contribution.

If you have a background in construction, could you do a lot of rehab yourself? If so, I would think that you could find someone with a little cash to work with you. They bring the money, you put in the sweat equity. Just let people know of your construction background. I'd try that first.
