Post: Should I pay off my mortgage or buy rentals?

I'm paying off my mortgage because I'm over leveraged. I have 2 rentals wth mortgages at the moment that cashflow a total of about $700. I saved about 700 a month for the payments. Over a 4 year period I bought my primary and 2 rentals. Now I'm going to pay the additional 1400 to my principle payment until I'm not over leveraged. Then I'll save towards another rental. Then back to paying off primary.

I am about to use my TSP to buy a rental. Then I am seeking to do a cash out refinance 6-12 months to pay the loan back in full. Otherwise I am not really worried about the cash flow at this point. I will count the out of pocket expense as money that I would be putting aside for the property until I can refi. Worse case scenario is I'll have a paid for rental in 5 years (pending no disaster of course).

I'm in the same boat. I've been getting chopped down left and right. The only company that would finance me required 50% down plus closing. And proof of six months carrying cost at closing. AND 13%.

I am moving and I'm not crazy about the equity that's in my current house. So, I am considering converting it into a rental. Being in the military I'm not guaranteed to stay locally so I want to get some advice and quotes from a good property manager.

Hello, can anyone recommend a good property manager in the Tampa area? Please and thank you
Hello all,
I am new to bigger pockets and am seriously considering investing in rental properties. I've lived in Tampa for about a year and a half now and I am analyzing several areas. I have never done anything in real estate before but I'm very excited to have come across bigger pockets on YouTube. I look forward to my journey in rental investments in the upcoming years. Feel free to relay any lessons learned and things that you would have done differently when you first started. Can't wait to hear from you.
