Hi, I am a window sales person in Wyoming, 50/50 new construction/rehab.  I would save your money and talk to a local window/door person.  Unless you are dealing with a very high end property they should be able to help.  Ask your general if you are planning on making any of the windows bigger or changing their size.  Good luck!

Thank you!  Most of the area is right up against the dirt so there is no way to add without removing the dirt, there is a tunnel to the plumbing and that it!

We are under contract on a 1950s 3bed/1 bath 1071 sq ft.  Great potential for flip but foundation inspection didn't go well.  Inspector said there is no frost protection.   Just wondering if anyone has dealt with similar issues and what you did??   This is my first time with an older home.  Thanks for the help~!

We have bought 2 from Auction.com and had good luck with both of them.  The first one took a while to close, but no other problems.   Our experience was great and would do it again.  Good luck!

@Dave Foster if you only do the 1031 exchange for the adjusted cost basis does that eliminate the tax liability?  If I have a house for $250k but the adjusted cost basis is $150k and I buy an new property for $150k, what would the tax position be?

Post: Reverse 1031 or other options if we have found the next property
