So I always hear people talking about investing in Single Family Homes but I rarely hear any talk about condos. Why is this? Is this because SFH product is much more in demand? What are the pros and cons to both?

@Isaac Johnson It depends on what you know and how well you know it. If you know a lot about stocks (businesses) and not much about REI, it will be a bad idea to jump into REI and vice versa. Success depends on you and not the investment vehicle. The more you know about something, the better investor you become. Stocks and Real Estate are just tools that can lead to success or failure.

@Tyler Rowland Why do people ask for raises every year at work? If you are not keeping up with the market, ur loosing money.

Hello everyone,

My name is Yaldho and i am new to REI. When i say new, i mean just finished reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad new. Found out about this site few days ago and I believe this will be a great place to start my real estate education. I am from Dallas and I am interested in learning more about investing in single family rental properties. Looking forward to all the connections!
