Besides Friends and Family, im trying to understand the pros and cons of such agreements?  And any examples of agreements.

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Yissell Torres, based out of Texas. I am newer to BP. I have always been fascinated by real estate investing. I have 13 years experience of flipping houses and owning rentals. But I want to get into the RV park business. I live near Austin, TX and have acquired a property, perfect for this business model. I am at the end stages of finalizing all the permitting and engineering designs.

Now I want to look for equity partners. I am very new to the concept of equity partnership and the pros and cons out there.

Does anyone know, how to find equity partners interested in this type of venture? And the language that needs to be in the contracts?

Anyone have experience using or finding equity partners, and the preparation to start this type of transaction.

Post: Cost to build an RV Storage from Raw Land

Hi Everyone,

New to BP, but not to investing.  I've had my fair share of flipping houses.  But now I want to dabble a little bit in an RV Storage venture.  Just acquired 12 acres just 35 mins from Austin Texas, on a major highway.  No zoning restricting or building restrictions.  The land is seller finance for 12 months with a balloon payment.  We are using equity from one of our rental to pay it off at the end of the term.

We are only going to use 3 acres of the 12 acres, to use for the storage project, and for the RV Resort the remaining usable space. The storage is going to offer 50 spots, 25 covered, 25 uncovered, basic gravel, chain link fence, and surveillance.  

How much does it cost to get such a project started?

Or if you've invested in these types of projects, and PROS and CONS.

Looking forward to learning from the collective wisdom.
