Does anyone know of a bank/broker that offers interest only loans for investment properties?

I’m looking to renovate my primary home and would potentially need short time financing(likely refinance into traditional financing once Reno is complete). I’m assuming my main option would be through private money. What should I be looking for with these types of loans? I’ve never done a private money loan. Thanks!

The homes I’ve been seeing in that price range are fixer uppers in Reseda, Winnetka, Canoga Park area.

@Greg Dickerson
Thanks, Greg! I’ll have to run my numbers to see if I could find a deal that I could get a return in that range. It’s been tough to find those type of deals without having to put a lot into the home. I’ve been trying to work with an agent to get more accessibility to off market listings. Thanks again for your thoughts!

My wife and I live in Los Angeles and are thinking about buying a property to flip. We are looking in the San Fernando Valley and home purchase price of about 500-600k. What would be an ideal ROR on a pretty straight forward flip(new flooring, bathroom and kitchen remodel)?

I've been looking for multi family properties(primarily duplexes) in the Los Angeles, West side area and seems like there is either limited availability or they are way too expensive to make money. Is there something else I should be considering? Are a lot of these deals done with off market listings? Or, is it just not worth it in LA due to the high prices?
