I would like to buy my first rental property in a few months and am doing some research in order to be as successful as possible. With that being said, I have some questions.

First, should I create an LLC and purchase the property through that? Or just purchase it in my name? Has anyone done this or not done this, and for what reasons?

I'm trying to buy my first SFR and would like some insight on purchasing. I have many questions and I've narrowed my desired locations down to Hornell, Corning, Bath, Horseheads, Elmira and or Binghamton. If any one local has any info they'd be willing to share I'm all ears!

Looking to get my foot in the door investing in real estate through multiple channels. I currently don't have much experience but I'm always looking to learn!
