I am considering taking investors to my LLC that I purchase properties with. Does anyone have any resources or suggestions on where I can learn more? Specifically I am looking for the best way to set this up, type of format, returns, etc. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for the help. I guess I am mainly concerned about protecting my investment at this point. I am looking for my first property and want to get the right coverage lined up.

I am purchasing thru an LLC. Any suggestions on the specific types of insurance I need along with the limits?

I am looking at a foreclosure property listed at 50k and assessed around 85k. I requested a quote from an agent and he came back at almost 1, 000 / yr. This seemed high to me. Quote was from Northstar.

The agent said that the quote was at replacement cost, and because of the size and age of the home, the cost is higher.

My question is this - which is the best way to go, ACV or replacement cost?

Also, anyone have a good insurance company that they prefer for rentals?
