Las Colinas is central to Dallas and Fort Worth (but, I can go anywhere, I drive all the time so not a big deal to me)...how about Champs in Las Colinas for the first one...I don't know how the noise level will be, but just an idea.

I am interested in feedback on this...and yes, you need a license to do apartment locating (at least in Texas you do).

Welcome Chris !!!...check with your HOA in your neighborhood because some have rules against investing in your own neighborhood...no big problem because I am sure the next neighborhood over has some great oppurtunities...good luck !!!
