Ryan attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he received a bachelor's degree in health and human sciences. Upon completion of his schooling, Ryan was commissioned into the Army as an active-duty aviation officer. He served eight years as an aviator, including two deployments to Afghanistan and Europe. Following a successful assignment as a Company Commander, Ryan and his family decided to make a career transition to sell real estate full time.
