@Kalen MillsI would definitely talk to an experienced attorney if you think its worth all the headache...otherwise I  would walk away and buy from the sheriff auction directly for less price and less headache at least I know that I'm dealing with the county/city..etc. and no difference in the redemption.I know a good attorney in Dallas she is very familiar to these sales let me know if you need her info.Good Luck

In some places like Dallas county you have to have the cash on you. 

.#2....you need to have cash...in Dallas they run it through the bill counter immediately after you win at the front of the room. 

Will need to do more research in the Dallas, TX area but hoping I would not need permits/ approval from city for any of this.

@Mels Kumisbekov In Dallas Fort Worth, which is our market, I do not know of any townhomes that do not have an HOA.
