South Scottsdale has older houses and smaller lots, but it looks like a country club compared to the roughest part of Detroit. 

Appears to be a banner year for a lot of the country as far as home prices.

@Engelo Rumora (What do you think Engelo, we have a tag line :)  )This is HUGE news guys but something that you guys have known forever and this is the #1 reason why I moved to Toledo when 4 years ago.By far the best "Bang for your Buck" market in the country. 

And you will have a marketable skill that you can put to use anywhere in the country if you decide to move around.

What is clear is that today and the foreseeable future the cash flow in Baltimore at today's prices is some of the best in the country.

I visited dozens of countries on four continents when I was Active Duty Navy (before my time in the AF) and wouldn't trade a day of it for a year back at home sitting on the sofa. 

I think if I can show that nurses who want to own a home and start a family will have an easier time doing so in Houston, that will reduce the friction that is keeping them from taking the plunge and moving cross-country. 

But enough of them turn into nightmares that when you have an out of state or country investor lose 60k on an 80k purchase because their duplex won't stay rented and when its vacant two days its stripped and that happens 3 times in 2 years.. well that's a bummer for that one investor.. but that's rolling the dice on these.There is no question that you guys that live and work it daily can make this stuff work..
