I am wondering if other members can share their tips, tricks and advice for advertising and finding tenants for the properties I self manage?

If you haven't already, listen to some of the pod casts. there are great tips in there.

I think the place finally sold and I got the cash principal and some, not all interest as I expected, but nothing above that.Next the contractor was building new homes on a golf course, actually more of a proposed golf course that was more of a cow pasture.

It might be the cynic in me, but I tend to think this is because MF makes no money off of either of these investment types, and view them as a competitive threat to their fee-based news letters and stock tip sheets.
