Generally, the best thing to do is remove unnecessary items that may fail and cause repair bills.

Would you get extra insurance to cover expensive planes, or make sure airtight lease requires renter to insure their stuffWould you provide snow removal on something like this?  

My concern is that the soon-to-be-given-notice tenant (month to month lease) will damage the property  and/or remove appliances after the new owner lets them know their tenancy is ended, on their way out. 

Chattel can be removed from property and the owner or the party with rights to the chattel must be afforded their chance to take back the property.  

I guarantee that 99% of the homes in NOLA that had this sheathing did not remove it before rebuilding.

Greg,I don't see trash and waste removal, snow removal (assuming it snows where you are if this is in PA), and lawn care.

Paint is an absolute nightmare to remove from brickNow, that said, I HAVE seen some brick homes painted white which have aged very well.

If it does not a carbon filter will remove all traces permanently and will need serviced roughly every 3 years.
