We feel that the information we require is better than looking at a credit report that covers a wider range of dates and a wider range of things that don't pertain to whether or not the tenant paid their rent for the past 3 months.When a tenant hands us rent receipts from a $2 Office Depot receipt book and tells us they pay cash we kick the applicant out the door.

I also don't want to spend a lot of money on sending and receiving payments.With an added bonus, are there any programs that can do all of the above AND report to the credit bureaus to help my tenants build their credit history and will record late payments if they miss them?

I've heard a number of brokers say they have the tenant initiate the report on Transunion and said it complied.

They give you some terrible NTN report or sometimes a tenant who they know is completely unqualified.
