I was under the impression (perhaps incorrect) that pet fees could also go to greater wear & tear on furniture and the extras we provide for our dog guests (poop bags, bowls, mats, towels, treats, etc.).

This will sound kind of Corny but it reminded me of my second job as a bag boy at a local mom and pop grocery store were the owners were just sticklers on customer care not like grocery today were the checkers will be talking to each other while a customer is in line etc.
