Both Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach have very clearly defined zoning maps that help inform where you can and cannot operate an STR. 

Major companies like Intel (building a $26B chip plant), Amazon, Facebook, Google, Honda, Anduril, Microsoft, and LG are expanding here, which is driving a lot of long-term demand and appreciation.

(Third hand information so no idea other than reddit posts and Google which confirms those two statements) Any recommendations from locals would be much appreciated!
