Look around where you want to invest such as the new Braves stadium opening in Cobb county and the new Mercedes Stadium for the Falcons being built.

My buddy has a condo in the old Booth Hospital with views across the river into the Reds stadium. 

But downtown Seattle with the space needle, and pike place, music venues, waterfront, hockey stadium, etc will always remain appealing to tourist in my opinion so we’re going to take the plunge and buy something as a 100% STR.

My wife went to school at Florida and on gameday it is very common for landlords to let cars park in the yard for $20-50 each depending on proximity to the stadium. 

It's relatively close to the new stadium and the ARV for the area is around 300k, however there's a couple communities in that zip code that are starter homes ranging at 245k.

Fast forward to today, his place is now square in the path of development sandwiched between the nationals stadium and soon to be constructed DC united soccer stadium.

This cost some to want to live closure to the stadium, others want to frequent restaurants.  

BTW, in 3 years, 2020, will be the completion of the Raider $1.9B stadium.

The Duplex is located within a few miles of downtown Sacramento/old Sacramento  and lets keep in mind the new Kings stadium is being built.
