Victoria Spagnolo Refinancing after a BRRR

You can refinance a DSCR loan.Something that is possible, but you'd need to explore further with a lender would be to set up a period where you have interest-only payments.During that period your mortgage payments would be lower since you're not paying any principle, and you could consider using the difference to pay back your family member. You'll want to keep in-mind that this would change the total amount you're paying on the loan, and if you have any pre-payment penalties on your current DSCR loan.If you're not able to refinance, I would say your best bet would be to try to pay them back as you can from the rents collected, and once you have enough equity that a refinance makes sense you could do so at that point to pay them back the balance.Hope that helps.
