We don't want to spend too much, because we'll probably sell this refrigerator when we eventually get back into our house.  

There was also a water line for a refrigerator..... maybe someone forgot this is a 469 sq ft tiny house and fancy pants fridges with on demand water and ice take up precious floor space (and if they don't they are frigging expensive).Slightly annoyed, but still impressed.Then I swung by a week later.

Many houses now have "snack kitchens" in their family rooms -- a small kitchen with a smaller refrigerator, a bar sink and a microwave.  

For refrigerators and other major appliances it is within 72 hours.

I'm a journey plumber gasfitter and refrigeration mechanic apprentice so I'm come from experience.

@Greg Martin  I would suggest you go in and empty all the refrigerators.. the stench will be worse everyday it sits. and block fridge doors open, so they can air out,, pull plugs so if power comes back on they won't.  

One incident I will always remember when I was doing an open house, was a little girl coming up to me, and noticing that there wasn’t a refrigerator or stove in the kitchen and asked, “Lady, don’t you have any food?”

There in the kitchen, garbage, bathroom, in the bed rooms a little bit, and even in the refrigerator. 

The heater, refrigerator and kitchen stove were missing from the cottage, and probably sold.
