Long-term, it was still a win.So do you “drop the hammer” or let it ride?

I saw what happens when these things start to go south and from my mind most of these companies that could be struggling now simply do not have enough staff to handle all their investors needs in a timely fashion and when things go bad like we see posted on BP right now lack of up front communications leads to Investors going out of their minds with worry and the blame game starts.

Just got back from a trip riding a motorcycle across Africa, mostly no internet, was happy to send a text every 3 days that we are doing okay - missed my morning coffee with BP routine ;-)Looking 10+ years ahead is interesting.

Its been a wild ride though doing all this through massive inflation and supply chain issue and Covid..  

Often some form or fashion of gross negligence.

Three to six months feels like that sweet spot, enough to ride out issues but not so much that your money sits idle.

Whether this is a true recovery or just a dead cat bounce remains to be seen 08 09 I was buying foreclosures there .. brand new homes that were selling for 250k I was buying fr 30 to 70k.. that market can and does have wild swings.. took decade or more to recover and I think those that have bought at the peak if its not a prime location are in the same boat.. they are stuck and will need to ride it out.
