It's possible to join ABS to PVC (the white stuff) but you don't get to use the solvent that sets instantly, and as I understand it, some jurisdictions don't allow it.

Please don't use an adhesive remover or solvent as it will go into the pores of the concrete and leach out into the new installation causes product damage or glue failure.

However, the major reason is that one bad TIC investor can really muck up stuff.On STNL, dependent on the lessee (like a corporate place), they usually need some sort of warranty/surety that the lessor (you) is solvent enough to address non-NNN issues (like major CapEx).

If it's there, painters have primers they can use to (try to) cover the smell (the primers I know of have a heavy solvent smell for X hours and are not for pet or human occupied dwellings).You could offer two solutions (recommend air fresheners be used if they stay, AND (before move in) offer to let them out of the lease).
