In fact, many of the other errors were expenses that they failed to record (e.g. not reconciling escrow accounts and missing property tax payments).My question for the tax veterans is how you weigh the cost / benefits of amending returns to correct errors?

Foreclosure rescue lease back is ILLEGAL in many states but of course no one ever mentions that part :)Jay, While the states with foreclosure rescue laws are a serious matter, I think many investors fail to step in and help those home owners / borrowers who are underwater and can’t sell the house to pay off the loan.

These service providers similarly omit charging order protections are rarely relevant in real estate related claims because its far easier to place a lien on the real estate where there's security that clouds title, they fail to disclose the management LLC will not stop the plaintiff attorney from filing a claim against the property owner.

Learn why so many agents fail and do the opposite.The main thing to do is focus on income-producing activity - aka generating leads (talk to people), following up with everyone in your database, going out on appointments, negotiating/closing deals.

.: I invested in three Blake Capital deals (at the time they were doing business as the Djuric Family Office): - Canopy Creek Apartments, Jacksonville, Florida (Mar 2021-Dec 2021); ended quickly with a moderate return on investment - Waterford Grove Apartments, Houston, Texas (Mar 2021-Dec 2023); failed resulting in a MIPA and total loss of all investor funds. - Park North (aka Life at Spring Estates), Houston, Texas (May 2022-Dec 2024); failed with a foreclosure & total loss of all investor funds.
