PetCo or PetSmart sells a product call "Simple Solution" that is an enzyme that "eats" the dog pee.  

Smoke gets in everywhere, walls, baseboards, flooring etc,,, there have been a few times I kilzed all the walls, tore up carpet and treated floors with a special enzyme treatment and brought in an ozone machine. 

That combined with a monthly enzyme treatment that I purchase at the local hardware store for about 8 bucks (about 60 applications) keeps the drains free and clear.
