I am not sure how your sexuality, gender and color of skin have anything to do with your ability to "see" and/or understand effects "on the communities being displaced...".

As most have already said, as long as you haven't accepted them yet, you should be fine as long as your decision follows the Fair Housing Act (meaning you're declining of their application is not based on Race, Color, National Origin, Religion, Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), Familial Status, or Disability). 

You must also give your landlord a copy of a safety plan, which you can create with the help of your local domestic violence or sexual assault agency.

This is especially important in a society that increasingly demands instant gratification ("Why can't I get a phone app to do everything related to the investment with just one click"?)

Since I'm really big into fitness I've invested years into how I wanted to look and it took me years to get there and to have some gratification in that area allows me to easily put my head down and grind as I have in other areas.  

You should get credit, criminal, sexual predator, homeland security and verification of identity.  

Or, they just ask me for my contacts and proceed to destroy my reputation with the players in my market.All people want is something for nothing, instantaneous gratification, basically a diseased mentality.

I stopped all gratification spending.

Also, I believe that many people were in my position and did not make a very high W2 earned income and from what people have told me here, by message, text, and on the phone that I have been an inspiration to change the way they look at things, so the things they look at may change right before their eyes.I don't offer something for nothing, instantaneuos gratification, or diseased mentality.
