I work full time at a local Chip( hint people think i work at Stadium) company as an Telecom engineer for last 20 years and still love the work i do and hopefully they don't fire me.

The attractions in Detroit (casinos, stadiums, Fox Theater, Bell Isle, etc) pull the middle class from the suburbs for a few hours, but they go back to suburbia afterwards because they will never live/raise a family near downtown.

It's happening all over LA ramping up the change to pat for the stadium (Rams) and to have the crowd live around it and populating the area. 90 day notices (so much so moratoriums have been placed because it's affecting GLUTS of people) where rents are jumping from 12-1300 for 2br 1ba apts to 28-3200 .. basically defacto evictions knowing people cannot afford it, specifically those on fixed incomes (this isn't uncommon as of late) .. so much of a jump Bay Area housing takes notice.

I'm surprised that Tucson ranked higher than Scottsdale/Tempe and ASU...the combination of Scottsdale as one of the country's top party towns, with the close proximity of ASU Stadium (5 miles) should put them near the top, I would think....?
