I stated in the lease: no candles, no smoking/vaping of any product inside the property, immediately mop up any spills or standing water, no non-operating vehicles, items they can store in the garage (bicycle is okay), no illegal drug use (I have to state the obvious) and "if any part of this lease is deemed invalid, it does not invalidate the other parts of the lease."

Life in an isolation bubble with a eco-chamber of one's greatness is not a setting for great things to come.

I’d rather get honest advice and real feedback than be in an echo chamber of cheer leaders that restrict free speech. 

@Benjamin Chambers As some of the previous comments mentioned, deciding your plan of action and goals going forward will help with the decision making on some of these items.

I'm not one to put myself in an echo chamber, hearing only what I want to hear and my own thoughts parroted back at me, so I listen to their concerns and the horror stories and the "friend of a friend" disasters.
