I've lived through the declared "Cold War" (that continues to this day despite what folks say), through Granada, through the Communist Insurgency in Thailand, through Shaba II, through part of the Lebanese Civil War, through the invasion of Grenada, the bombing of Libya, through the Persian Gulf War, through the Invasion of Panama, through the Gulf War (again), through the intervention of the Somali war, through the intervention of Haiti, through the Bosnian war, through the War in Kosovo, through the war in Afghanistan, through the Iraq war (again), through the war in North-West Pakistan, through the Libyan Civil war, through the war on Isil, through the war in Afghanistan (again), and through the (current) Yemeni civil war.How is this not business as usual?

Does anyone here at biggerpockets have any experience investing in Russia, China, or any other nation that is, at it's core, communist?

To describe the area better, its very historic and there are 2 properties that are almost communist block style housing.  

I'm not the world's foremost expert on this, but I cannot fathom the idea of investing capital in a communist country, where privately owned assets have routinely been stolen from owners.

A few things to consider: China inflates and falsifies their economic statistics, as every communist nation does (and most other nations do to a lesser degree).

I don't have a political affiliation box on my rental application (don't know if it is legal), the reality is that whether they vote republican, democrat, communist, etc..., their rent goes towards my wealth building.
