I appreciate your council, but please don't be abrasive! 

When Bob Stevens and Chuck Norris sit down for dinner to set the global agenda for the next week they don't read menus or research options... they just order... they inherently just know.Bob multiple people have pointed out that your initial response may have come across as abrasive.

This is going to sound absolutely bonkers and counterintuitive but the best way to deal with negative and abrasive people in business or in life really is to listen to what they're saying and identifying their pain points. 

They will use harsh abrasives and destroy the glaze.

And laminate is strong abrasion resistance.

I also stress to them the fact not to use abrasive scouring pads to "clean" stainless steel. 

But today this person is older, set in their ways, and can be an abrasive landlord. 

Most lawsuits will be scuffs and abrasions averaging around 27k, I forgot but you get the idea.

The acrylic cannot take abrasive cleaners (will tenants know that?)

This is a pilot project between us and the cleaning service.As to your previous question about detailed house rules, we do have detailed clauses about care of the property (e.g. do not use abrasive cleaners on acrylic tubs).
