Just get the son out, keep her security deposit - do it right according to the law, and if you want to spend money on a losing small claims court (as far as being likely to collect without spending more money on a process server and then still not collecting from her), then that's your choice.I'd probably not bother with suing her, but I suggest you study how to screen tenants better.

Schlage is usually doing maintenance on the servers which can cause the locks to become disconnected.Another thing you could do is put in 5 or so emergency codes for guests just in case.
