For doors, we usually see a charger per door. 

I've seen landlords being able to charge really high rents because students can pool money together living in separate rooms.

It should come with two batteries and a charger.

That said, I would let the tenant stay a few extra weeks and charge rent for it because I don't consider renovation an urgent reason to kick someone out.

By that, I mean, I charge rent at one rate, and offer a discount for those who get renter's insurance.

BTW: ALL laptops have a Three prong plug to the battery charger and a unique cable from it to the laptop.
