The second house the seller was not forth coming at all and it wound up needing serious plumbing repairs and it needed a roof.

Do you happen to remember which style and thickness you wound up buying that satisfies most guests?

I wound up buying a mostly turnkey SFH (need a few minor repairs after inspection) in Indianapolis with an agent off the MLS.

Of course I would have preferred recovery from a flesh wound instead of an arterial bleed :). 

That being said I wound up turning around the property aroind and making a nice profit.

The house next to me that I wound up buying had 4 guys in their early 20's living there for a little while.

Odds are reasonable that if you try to accomplish anything in life, you're going to meet a good cross section of both.So, it's made you stronger -- you sit back for a while, lick your wounds, cry into your beer, rebuild your asset base, then get back into the fray.

Plus,  they were probably a sellers agent, with no fiduciary responsibly to you.Look, I'm not trying to rub salt in your already open wounds.

Wound up waiting until our 4th rental property, and then bought a Tesla that is somehow faster than my M3.Take care of business, but treat yoself while you’re at it!
