@Albert Ng we have had a few nights on airbnb when we first rented it, but then at the end of the first month we had our first tenant move in for a 6 month lease who here for work.I guess my take away is try and find something that comparable in the area.

@Maggie Ng you can't collect rent from two leases on the same property at the same time, so if the new tenant moved in BEFORE the old lease expired, you owe the previous tenants a credit.

I just want to account for the possibility of the unforeseen.As far as the numbers, it is a township parcel with 1.5 acres, city water and NG.

Would it behoove me to keep that in mind in my decision making ... i.e. think twice before using electric hw heat because we won't be able to take advantage of ng to heat our water when it comes ...okay, hopefully these questions are clear enough and I've given enough info for some meaningful conjecture!
