I have decided, for instance, that I no longer like managing and am going to slowly hand it over to an "in house' trainee.

He doesn't realize it yet but he just got himself a committed and loyal trainee that will turn partner/colleague for life.

I am working to complete the requisite courses to obtain my trainee license.  

I have a family friend who is an appraiser who trained another friend of mine, but the trainer is retiring soon and not taking on any more trainees.

About 20yrs ago I had about a half dozen appraiser trainees and licensed appraisers working for me.
