It’s an easy way to pre-screen and confirm they actually qualify, which helps you avoid wasting time on people who aren’t a fit!

Is it for screening purposes?

Focus on having your leases, screening process, and communication systems ready before move-in so you feel confident and prepared.

Section 8 can work well if the property’s in a solid area and you screen tenants carefully.

From there, take that data and build out a marketing strategy, whether it be social media, advertising online, billboards, tv, radio, direct mail, email, etc....

Well it might come at a cost.I was just looking at one of many Facebook groups for visitors of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and a guest just posted screen shots of their conversation with their "host". 

Bedroom doors get kicked in, windows broken, holes appear in walls, blinds & screens ruined, cigarette burns on countertops & carpets, etc.

Given this man was actively working with tenants who had troubled pasts, screening would not have helped him.
