I try to avoid writing lengthy essays. 

I think those are much more productive for the person asking for help than back and forth essay length messages.

Tagging people who have no choice but to believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel is not persuasive.

People write essays on their position, instead of bullet points on the facts, pros, cons etc.
