I was looking to get a new degree in financing, accounting etc and knew I was going to be paying a tuition someway or another.

(I hate manual entry)However... when QBO jack up their prices every year faster than the college tuition, it just seems absurd and makes me come back to this forum to take others' recommendations...

Agreed it is tuition. 

We all have lost money on deals look at it as a lesson or tuition.

Don’t get discouraged on the SFH, sometimes the first couple of deals are just tuition.

It still worked out in end as I still have that same car (no longer under lease, close to paying the loan off) but I think back to it as one of the things a regret not doing.I swear I have paid as much for my non-university tuition as for the actual degrees.

The biggest “tuition” in real estate is experience—running numbers on dozens of deals, analyzing markets, and eventually doing that first transaction.

A W2 can be frustrating but it provides a guaranteed paycheck, subsidized healthcare, matching retirement, tuition reimbursement, equity programs, PTO, and more.
