We are finding there are some properties where the tenant has paid yet the owners have received "invoices" that the tenants are in collections. 

When you leave voicemails and emails to Debbie P you get responses from a Kathy Tran and Sylvia Flores is wanting you to pay your invoice and then they tried to charge me $45 later for my next bid because I canceled but I canceled with an enough time to do my due diligence and discovered they are fraud so my account can sit there with $45 owed because I will never pay them

& track my job costs against each category so I can compare my budget vs actuals and calculate the variances.For example:Electrical Budget: $4,000Electrical Actual: $6,300Variance: +$2,300This process is more tedious because you have to breakdown each invoice or receipt and allocate the costs to each Category, but it really helps you understand where you are spending your money and why you went over budget.Otherwise, it sounds like you are having trouble measuring employee productivity?  

It's also nice because we can upload invoices, quotes, drawings, permits, etc all to the individual project we create.

If there are clear signs of negligence (kid throws down, paper towels, food, fats) then you can get the invoice from the plumber with the notes and present it to them. 

Building Credit with Vendor AccountsStarting with Net-30 Accounts (vendors that give you 30 days to pay invoices) is a smart strategy.

My business partner had done work with this client through her cleaning company previously and headed all communication with this client including all invoicing.
