I have a full week including two weekends to do minor cleaning, take out trash, some yard work, and touch up paint.

For instance, I always use the same color of paint in my rentals which allows me to easily (and inexpensively) touch up the paint.

The interior is looking great, only paint touch ups are left and the bathroom countertops were installed today.

Black you can use a little touch up paint.

you stated it will cost $3k but is only 3 years old. it should only be touch ups if its only 3 years old. if you are going for a whole new look with the new flooring then you arent looking at a $12000 turn over you are looking at a $12000 cosmetic rehab.

After the initial set up, I go to my STR before the busy season to take inventory of linens and consumables like soap etc, replace or repair linens or small items, touch up paint, and get my eyes on the property to make sure everything is in good repair. 

And I don’t just mean an easy cleanup and touch up.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this property does not need any major repairs (at least obvious) or even paint touch ups.

Easy to touch up later when they get chipped and scuffed.I'm not saying this is high quality stuff, but it's suitable for high C/ low B rentals where I am.

I am currently in a project making my fathers house ready to sell , 2000 sq ft house , 14 replacement windows , paint . 10 pre hung 6 panel doors , some framing lumber , 10 sheets of drywall some plumbing supplies and misc things and I am in close to $10K . ( NO LABOR MATERIALS ONLY )I havent done Kitchen , flooring , 2 bathrooms , or exterior needs paint and touch ups . .
