Many people commute into Olympia for work, but enjoy the smaller, quieter community along Puget Sound's southwest coastline. 

Over the years people have been steadily migrating south into more temperate climate states, and towards the coastlines.

Beautiful coastline, barrier reef, world-class fishing and diving, Caribbean island vibe coupled with a jungle mountain interior filled with caves, rivers, Mayan ruins, quant villages, rolling hillsides dotted with ranches/farms and sparsely populated countryside.

Life is too short to sacrifice living somewhere I love for a dollar.Ergo why California real estate pert near anything within 30 miles of the coast line.. is so sought after and expensive. 

Based on the coast line there, would you say West (Palos Verdes side) or East (closer to the port) side?

Growing up in South Florida, WATER has always been the buzzword: Waterfront, water view, water access...Since the sale, I have been searching the landscape, focused exclusively on the Florida east coastline, from the FL Keys, to Fort Lauderdale, all the way up to Jacksonville Beach. 

Now something I did not know was that the many other homes not like this one but the nice palatial estates along the La Jolla cliffs that go for 10 million plus cannot be financed and must be purchased cash because that area is the fastest eroding coastline in the U.S. and parts of the houses up there frequently fall in the ocean.

With the amount of coast line in Michigan there are an insane amount of opportunities for STR.
