@Nnena O. there aren't really a ton of run down condos to flip in Pittsburgh, so any condo that you could buy to flip would have a pretty thin margin.Here's an anecdote: http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2013/03/21/police-f...about two years ago a guy intentionally blew up his condo, committing suicide.

One thing I didn't mention, is that my mother committed suicide (by gunshot) there in 2009...When my father's dementia started getting more serious, early this year, I hired an elderly-care manager to handle a variety of tasks like getting him to doctors (he wouldn't go with me), and eventually transition him into assisted living, where he is now.I was initially thinking of selling the house to pay for his care, so I discussed it with her.

Since your in asset protection business.. there is a lot of people on this site that think a simple one member LLC is asset protection … myself every time I have had a squabble the LLC is NO protection at least you still get named personally never have not been over the 3 decades I have been using them.. have not been in a ton of litigation but the hand ful that's what has happened.. usually  real estate recession or partnership squabbles.. not  GL type someone got killed on my property.. other than a few suicides but those we have no liability against.
